What does everyone do for exercise? I'm using mostly workout dvds (hate the gym). Looking forward to better weather and getting back outside. I'm going to try to get back into running and hope my knees will hold out!

Sometimes they help! I find that reading fitness magazines motivate me to get to the gym. If I'm wavering on motivation I pick one up and can convince myself easily. My favorite is Runner's World. I like the recipes, the tips, and the workout options they provide.

If I can do it anyone can! I started in Jan. and watch my fat intake and have lost 47 pounds. The pounds come off slowly now but I know I can do this. Jackie M

Weight Management

Multiple medical studies have proven that the first line of any medical treatment is therapeutic lifestyle change. A limited focus on weight loss is a cosmetic solution with only temporary results. The long-range plan for weight management requires that all methods of treatment should be pursued under a physician's direction through medical evaluation, nutritional guidance, exercise programs, behavior modification and surgery, under some circumstances.
